Whether you are with your family, at a friend’s house, at work, or just taking a walk outside, it is very important to always look your best. Here are 4 tips for looking your very best every day.
1 – Get Enough Rest
You’ve heard that you need 8 hours of sleep, right? I’ll give you a second to finish laughing. Getting that much sleep is just not practical for most of us, but you HAVE to get as much sleep as you can to look your best. Make it a priority to go to sleep earlier. Aim for at least 7 hours. You’ll feel better and you’ll look great every morning.
2 – Prepare Your Clothes in Advance
Another great way to look your best is to prepare your clothes in advance. Every night before you go to bed, iron your clothes and get them prepared. Many times people will rush around in the morning and end up leaving the house looking a bit rugged. Avoid this situation by getting everything ready and laid out. Also, NEVER leave the house looking like you just woke up. Don’t be that guy or gal walking around the grocery store in their PJs and slippers. Yes it’s comfortable but you’ll look lazy and unclean.
3 – Establish a Grooming Routine
I’m not going to lecture you on the importance of grooming. You know how important it is, but I will tell you to establish a routine. Establishing a routine encourages you to ALWAYS groom yourself no matter how tired you are. This is especially important at night when you are tired and just want to go to bed without brushing your teeth or washing your face. If you make it a routine, you won’t “feel right” if you skip it. To look your best, you need to wash your face, brush your teeth at the very least. This will ensure you always take care of these things.
4 – Exercise
Exercising is a great way to look your best. Even if you still have a few pounds to shed, after a great workout, you’ll feel great and this will translate into your outer appearance. You’ll have more energy, and you’ll feel more confident.
